To explore ways new technology might support increased and improved access to ASFPM library materials for floodplain management professionals.
The Association of State Floodplain Managers maintains a curated digital library for floodplain management related documents and resources. Recently, ASFPM has received a donation from FEMA containing numerous additional documents and resources. ASFPM wishes to curate and catalog the donated materials to make them available to floodplain professionals. Through this project, the ASFPM librarian will explore and assess how new technologies, including AI technologies, are supporting libraries across the country and which of them might benefit the ASFPM library.
