ASFPM and the Flood Science Center have produced and continue to produce numerous floodplain management publications. Additionally, FSC has identified, acquired or received through donations a substantial number of flood-related books and resources, such as the FEMA Collection, that contains hundreds of books, reports and guidance documents.
To help share all these publications and resources with ASFPM members, committees and the public, since 2010 ASFPM has been investing in its library, which has significantly grown and continues to grow. In addition to curating a physical library collection, ASFPM, through the FSC, has invested into R&D for creating an online library using cutting-edge digital library technology and processes. ASFPM’s Digital Library serves as the basic organizational element for the redesign of the ASFPM website, floods.org.
