Coastal No Adverse Impact (NAI) applies the broader NAI approach to the unique hazards, processes, and management challenges coastal communities face. Organized around seven building blocks of floodplain management and three levels of implementation, it provides a comprehensive framework for coastal communities to strengthen their flood risk management practices over time.

Additional Coastal NAI resources are currently under development, including recommendation cards with practical guidance for each building block and level and a nine-course, on-demand training series, with release anticipated in early 2027.
