Professional Biography

I have 40 years of work experience as a staff and management engineer for the California Department of Water Resources. I have 2 plus years as a CaDWR volunteer and retired part time employee. My work experience includes operations and maintenance of the California State Water Project, flood hydrology, flood hydraulics, levee system management, flood project planning and plan implementation, FPM and a bunch of other flood risk management duties. I have written multiple technical papers and I also worked for 6.5 years on a part time basis with the regional flood authority in New Orleans, Louisiana.
