Partner: National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration Office for Coastal Management.

ASFPM in partnership with the NOAA Office of Coastal Management and seven NGOs help guide the development of the Digital Coast website - a single web resource for coastal data, tools and training. The partnership helps ensure content is relevant, shapes the future of the Digital Coast, represents a national, unified approach for the coast, contributes to a movement to protect coastal communities, enables a wider distribution of data, tools and information, increases product exposure and use, provides opportunities to work with other organizations, and reduces duplication of effort.

The partnership includes The Nature Conservancy, Coastal States Organization, National Association of Counties, National State Geographic Information Council, Urban Land Institute, National Estuarine Research Reserve Association and American Planning Association. Involvement in this partnership has spawned several other funded projects like the Great Lakes Coastal Resilience Planning Guide - a Digital Coast regional project led by ASFPM and NOAA OCM.
