Description
The purpose of this meeting is to convene the NOAA Digital Coast Partners and subject matter experts to help design, review, and implement a plan for the development of the Coastal No Adverse Impact Guide and Training Program. It is an opportunity to gather content related to best practices, case studies, success stories and learn about other Partner resources, reports and articles that can be incorporated into the update of the Coastal No Adverse Impact Guide and Training program. The Design Charrette will coincide with a Digital Coast Partnership meeting hosted by ASFPM in Washington D.C.
Materials
Both meeting days are full days, from approximately 8:30 am - 4:30 pm. Wed., July 9th will focus on the Coastal NAI design charrette and Thurs., July 10th will focus on Digital Coast partnership business. You are more than welcome to attend both days, as fits your interest and capacity. Let us know which events you will be attending by responding to the associated Google Calendar invites. Introduction to No Adverse Impact Webinar
Please join us for a 45-minute informational webinar on the concept of No Adverse Impact (the "good neighbor policy") on June 17 at 4:00 p.m. ET. This webinar is open to all, but we especially encourage anyone who is planning to attend the Digital Coast partnership meeting and Coastal No Adverse Impact design charrette to attend this webinar, as it will cover key background information to participate. The webinar was recorded for anyone who could not attend.

Flight Information
Ronald Reagan Washington National (DCA) is the closest airport. If you are attending both days, we would recommend flying in on Tuesday, July 8th, in the morning. We will have a briefing on Capitol Hill on Tuesday afternoon at 3:00 pm β more information is in the linked Agenda above. The meeting goes from 8:30-4:30 on Wednesday, July 9th and Thursday, July 10th. You are welcome to book your flight home for the evening of Thursday, July 10th or for Friday, July 11th. If you need travel assistance, please save your flight ticket receipts. From DCA, The hotel and venue are close to the red line Navy Yard stop on the Metro.
Getting to the Reservoir Center

Visitors should enter the ground floor lobby via the main entrance at 301 Water St. From the lobby, the second floor can be reached via stairs or elevator, where a receptionist can assist you with navigating the building.
- From the hotel (Hampton Inn & Suite), itβs roughly a 9-minute walk.
- By DC Metro, take the green or red line to Navy Yard Metro station. Follow signs for the Department of Transportation. From the M St. exit it is an 8-minute walk to the Reservoir Center. For more information on using DC Metro check out WMATA Trip Planner.
- By bike, there are three Capital bikeshares close to the facility, located at 3rd & Tingley St. SE, 4th & M St SE, and 1st & N St SE.
- By car, there are three parking lots to choose from. The Yards Lot Q at 425 Tingey St SE (one block away), SP+ Parking at 1275 New Jersey Ave SE, and Colonial Parking at 300 M St SE.

Travel Assistance
If you requested travel assistance, please keep receipts for travel-related expenses, other than meals, which will be reimbursed at the per diem rate. We will follow up later with the reimbursement spreadsheet and instructions. Please remember we can only support up to $1700 per individual.
