FEMA has developed an applied approaches document that supplements the Guidance for Flood Risk Analysis and Mapping: Levees (Guidance Document #95) to provide examples of scenarios encountered during a flood risk project. The applied approaches are illustrated with existing case studies and are intended to elaborate on the information presented in Section 7.0 of the Levee Guidance Document.
Specifically, this best practice supports Section 7.2 of the guidance, which states "a non-levee feature is considered a physical feature that is not designed, constructed, operated, or maintained as a flood control-structure, but may inadvertently confine flow during some flood events."

Q & A:
1. Can you put the link here, for us to test?
This Applied Approaches document will be available on the FEMA RMD SharePoint site to all authorized users here: https://rmd.msc.fema.gov/kss/Lists/KSSBPLL/AllItems.aspx
2. Who can get access to RMD SharePoint and how do you go about requesting access?
FEMA’s mapping providers (PTS contractors, CTPs) can gain access. For CTP SharePoint access there is a new FEMA e-mail "help/admin" account. CTPs should e-mail: fema-ctp-admin@fema.dhs.gov
Note: Viewing the recording of this webinar is not eligible for CECs.
